Sara Barielles & John Legend Musical Revue

APRIL 2022 - Molloy University CAP21 Program

Performed at CAP21 (50 Broadway, NYC)

Every year, the second semester Sophomores at Molloy University CAP21 perform songs from select musical theatre composers. The chosen composers can range anywhere from Stephen Sondheim and Cole Porter to Sara Bareilles and John Legend, which just so happened to be that years selections for the section that I was apart of. We performed a wide range of their material such as “Start a Fire” featured in La La Land, as well as “Opening Up”, “She Used to Be Mine”, “What’s Inside”, “When He Sees Me”, “Never Ever Getting Rid of Me”, “You Matter to Me”, & “Bad Idea” featured in Waitress. We also sang some of their other material like “One Woman Man”, ‘King of Anything”, “All of Me”, etc.. It was definitely a fun night filled with wonderful music and good vibes!
